Helmut Zarbl, Ph.D. ATS, Founder and Chairman of the Scientific Board:
Dr. Zarbl is a professor of Toxicology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey; Director of the NIEHS funded Center for Environmental Exposures and Disease, and Associate Director of Public Health Sciences at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Zarbl also has significant experience leading large interdisciplinary programs and consortia. He was the Director of NIEHS sponsored Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center/University of Washington Toxicogenomics Consortium, serving as the Chair of the Steering Committee for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences National Toxicogenomics Consortium for two years. Dr. Zarbl serves on numerous national research review and advisory panels, including the National Academy of Sciences' National Research Council Committee on the Applications of Toxicogenomics to Predictive Toxicology.
